Working as part of a strategic consultancy, Carnegie’s Cinematographer plays a pivotal role in the production of creative media projects. They are called upon to interpret high-level strategy, envision a clear and dynamic visual communication of a client’s brand personality, bring that vision to life through videography, and present and defend the end result to various stakeholders.

The Cinematographer must be that rare mix of creative visionary and meticulous planner. They are able to ideate and produce beyond generic styles and constructs in favor of deeply personified expressions that move and motivate audiences. They are able to visualize, organize, and plan a shoot; communicate tasks to team members and clients; be personable and lead the shoot; run the post-production processing and edits; and ultimately execute the original vision.

Carnegie’s Cinematographers have a passion for understanding the client and consumer and for creating wholly original and personified video content that unites them. Under the guidance of the Photo and Video Director, the Cinematographer will innovate, build, and execute a growing suite of Carnegie’s multimedia product offerings. These products will be used to aid our clients to share messages, extend reputation, and accomplish organizational goals. Secondary projects will include partnering with the company’s internal marketing function to produce on-brand, compelling marketing assets. Proven production skills are required, as are critical-thinking skills, the ability to arrive at original concepts, and the ability to work both alone and with cross-disciplinary team members.
