Slate Account Manager
Account Managers possess significant experience working in teams and show a strong affinity toward organizing project information and identifying client needs ahead of the client. They understand the scope of work and deliverables while meeting the satisfaction of stakeholders on time and successfully. They are also comfortable with the technical aspects of the position and interested in learning more about Technolutions’ Slate CRM as well as the higher education space.
Responsibilities:
- Communication
- Serve as the liaison between clients and Carnegie’s content creators to ensure brand consistency and exceed client needs while also serving as quality assurance for all assets delivered to clients
- Build rapport quickly to establish trust, respect, and confidence for excellent working relationships with colleagues and internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization; with external vendors, ensure objectives are understood, expectations are set, and appropriate business engagement is in place throughout a project
- Clearly communicate the progress of deliverables to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth transitions and consistent communication
- Account Management
- Operate as the primary day-to-day contact for all matters specific to assigned accounts
- Efficiently facilitate and manage expectations for projects within Slate service lines, including reporting, training, communications, enrollment implementation, integrations, and portals
- Participate in routine strategy calls as needed as well as document action items and discussion points for internal reference
- Collaborate with division members to enhance client experience and project success
- Work collaboratively with project managers to ensure the timeline and successful delivery of project deliverables
- Manage internal shared files through Google Drive with division members
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to lead calls involving stakeholders and decision-makers
- High attention to detail for reviewing deliverables prior to client review
- Highly competent using Google Suites, specifically advanced Google Sheets and Google Slides for client work and calls
- Ability and willingness to expand technical skills
- Effective communication and time management skills for a remote work environment as well as the ability to use/learn multiple technology platforms and switch between them on a regular basis
- Physical ability to be in a stationary position at a desk and work at a computer for prolonged periods
- Record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to closure
- Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail, multitasking, prioritization, and decision-making
- Excellent facilitation skills to conduct meetings and workshops that encourage attendees to participate and collaborate effectively and efficiently
- Knowledge of project management tools, techniques, and processes, including Asana
- Strategic thinking and planning abilities that create clear pathways toward client goals while facilitating efficient resource management
- Ability to handle a variety of clients and projects simultaneously
- Dexterity and wherewithal to effectively deal with ambiguity, change, and continuous process improvements
- Self-motivation and self-starter
- Adobe Suite experience a plus
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a concentration in Marketing or Advertising
- 2–5 years of higher education experience
- Previous experience in account management, project management, or client relations strongly preferred
