The Enrollment Data Specialist serves the data needs of our Student Search clients as well as supports the technical aspects of enrollment strategy operations. They own enrollment data within clients’ Slate instances, including reporting, origin sourcing and attribution, auditing, and integrations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enrollment Strategy Reporting
- Prepare intermediate to advanced queries and reports in Slate
- Troubleshoot and provide insights as needed to assist with strategy review
- Prepare individual project and cross-client data for analysis and reporting
- Search Data Management
- Maintain historical and current client data
- Coordinate data needs with data leads, account leads, and Slate strategists
- Utilize multiple data processing and visualization tools
- Manage implementation of and transfer of client data for Carnegie-hosted Slate instances
- Builds and maintains enrollment-related Slate automations and integrations
- Client Interaction & Project Execution
- Works directly with clients in both Enrollment Strategy and other types of technical projects (Slate integrations, reports, and consultations) to troubleshoot, present findings, and execute project scopes
- Internal Project Contribution
- Contribute to team innovation ideation conversations, taking ownership of projects, processes, and integrations that interest them and meet the needs of the team
- Complete other data reviews and Slate consultation projects as assigned
- Assist in competitive intelligence projects and research
- Identify and implement operational improvements and efficiencies
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Curiosity about data challenges, both overall and unique to the college admissions market
- Expertise in Queries, Reports, and Upload Dataset modules of Slate; Portals familiarity preferred
- Experience in Microsoft Access and Excel or other database systems
- Leadership and management abilities
- Desire to be an active contributor on internal and client-facing strategy calls
- Organizational skills, including attention to detail, multitasking, prioritization, and decision-making
- Interpersonal skills to positively collaborate with team members and represent the company to clients
- Due to the remote environment, effective communication and time management skills are required, as well as the ability to use/learn multiple technology platforms and switch between them on a regular basis
- Physical requirement: Must be able to work at a computer for prolonged periods
Credentials and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in higher education, preferably enrollment
- At least 2 years of intermediate to advanced experience in the Technolutions Slate CRM
- Experience in segmentation marketing analysis
- Experience manipulating large data files
