Dr. Patrick Noltemeyer serves as Chief of Staff and Secretary to the Board of Trustees at Elon University. A Kentucky native, he earned his B.S. from Centre College, his master’s in college student personnel services from the University of Kentucky, and his Ph.D. in higher education from the University of Louisville. Patrick spent 16 years at Centre College in student life, civic engagement, strategic planning, and the President’s Office before joining Elon in 2019. As Chief of Staff, he supports President Connie Book, coordinates senior administration, manages crisis response, and serves as the university’s liaison to the Board of Trustees.
