The Slate Communications Email Builder is a part-time position supporting daily production operations of the Slate Communications team, which includes email building, testing, and troubleshooting.
Part-time and seasonal position available; up to 20 hours per week.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Slate Email Building & Proofing
- Builds emails in Slate CRM using provided templates and copy, applying client edits if necessary (no copywriting or design work; build and implementation only)
- Uses Slate functionality to configure variable content via liquid markup, content blocks, and translation codes and builds configurable joins exports to capture relevant data for logic
- Troubleshoots errors and optimizes HTML and CSS code in accordance with documentation and checklists
- Tests email code and design for ADA compliance and mobile friendliness using provided tools
- Uses Asana project management system to manage daily tasks and communicate with internal team members (Client Delivery Representatives, Designers, Writers, and Slate Strategists)
- Other Slate Tasks
- Depending on time of year, the Email Builder may also be trained to assist with other Slate operations, such as refreshing basic reports and queries
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS and Slate CRM required
- Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail, multi-tasking, prioritization and decision-making skills
- Interpersonal skills to positively collaborate with team members
- Due to the remote environment, effective communication and time management skills are required, as well as the ability to use/learn multiple technology platforms and switch between them on a regular basis
- Physical requirement: Must be able to work at a computer for prolonged periods
Credentials and Experience:
- Associate/Bachelors degree or equivalent life/work experience
- Minimum of 1 year of intermediate experience in Technolutions Slate CRM; experience within the Deliver module required
