About the Role
Senior Slate Student Success Implementations Strategists lead the day-to-day work and long-term strategy behind client Slate Student Success builds. You’ll own advanced implementations end to end — modules, data migration, datasets, and everything in between — while acting as the client’s go-to Slate expert. This role also carries leadership weight on the team: mentoring Strategists, shaping internal processes, and bringing strategic recommendations back to how the team works.
What You’ll Own
- Slate Student Success Implementations
- Own and lead the build of advanced Slate Student Success Implementations for partner institutions, including all Student Success modules, data migration, and datasets
- Own the troubleshooting, building, and advising on all assigned Slate projects
- Recommend Student Success, advising, and retention processes, drawing on past implementations, professional experience, and industry trends
- Client Partnership
- Talk clients through Slate builds — process, strategy, and implications — on scheduled calls and in writing
- Work closely with the client project team (Accounts and other Strategists) to keep implementations and consultations accurate and on track
- Serve as the expert voice on Slate for your assigned clients
- Internal Projects
- Bring ideas to team innovation conversations
- Take ownership of internal projects, processes, and integrations that interest you and meet the needs of the team
- Team Leadership
- Potential to directly manage one to three Slate Strategists
- Meet with direct reports regularly, providing mentorship, guidance, and support for their growth and development
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent life/work experience
- Minimum of 2 years of advanced Technolutions Slate CRM experience
- Minimum of 1 year of higher education advising, retention, or Student Success experience
- Thorough knowledge of Slate features, including Advanced Queries, Dashboards, Datasets, Deliver, Entities, Events, Fields and Prompts, Forms, Rules, Tasks and Projects, and Upload Dataset
- Advanced knowledge of Student Success processes and strategy
- Excellent organizational skills — attention to detail, multitasking, prioritization, and decision-making
- Interpersonal skills to collaborate well with team members and represent Carnegie to clients
- Strong communication and time-management skills, along with comfort switching between multiple technology platforms, given the remote environment
- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $80,000–$97,000. Your offer will reflect the experience, skills, and qualifications you bring.
