Senior Vice President, Enrollment Strategy

The Senior Vice President of Enrollment Strategy serves as the owner of their subdivision, inclusive of the on-ground and online Enrollment Strategy teams. This person provides a desired work environment for those within the team, maintains a positive external reputation, and works to deliver on internal sales and revenue goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strategy, Leadership, and Innovation
    • Leads subdivision strategically, informed by higher education and enrollment management  trends across modalities
    • Facilitates the creation of and is held responsible for achieving agreed-upon goals
    • Ensures Carnegie-wide integration of subdivision’s people, products, and processes
    • Orchestrates innovation for new products and opportunities
  • Sales and Revenue Oversight
    • Monitors sales activity and revenue generation proactively 
    • Leads custom scoping and project-based revenue allocation conversations
    • Provides  recommendations for offerings, including pricing
  • Enrollment Strategy
    • Takes accountability for strategic direction and delivery of subdivision services 
    • Advises on project execution strategy within the Enrollment Strategy team
    • Maintains a small portfolio of Enrollment Strategy partners
  • Supervisory Responsibilities
    • Supervises subdivision senior leaders, providing constructive and timely performance evaluations
    • Manages staffing and workflow, including individual and team bandwidth/resourcing potential
    • Structures subdivision to evolve and scale in conjunction with growth

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Leadership, management, and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational skills, including attention to detail, multitasking, prioritization, and decision-making
  • Higher education, enrollment management, and financial aid knowledge 
  • Due to the remote environment, effective communication and time management skills are required, as well as the ability to use/learn multiple technology platforms and switch between them on a regular basis
  • Physical requirement: Must be able to work at a computer for prolonged periods

Credentials and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent life/work experience
  • 10 or more years of experience in higher education and data science
