About the Role
The Slate Enrollment Implementations Strategist runs our clients’ Slate Enrollment implementations, consultations, assessments, and audits day to day. You’ll build and fix Slate for partner institutions, guide clients through each step, and bring the admissions know-how that helps them get the most out of Slate. The role combines hands-on Slate building with client advising and project management.
What You’ll Own
- Slate Builds & Implementations
- Lead and support Slate Enrollment implementations for partner institutions through all three implementation phases
- Handle historical data migration and other build work
- Troubleshoot, build, and advise on every Slate project assigned to you
- Client Communication & Strategy
- Walk clients through Slate builds on scheduled calls and in writing, explaining the process, the strategy, and what each choice means for them
- Recommend admissions processes based on past implementations, your professional experience, and industry trends
- Project Management
- Manage and organize your projects: set timelines, map processes, and keep work on track
- Work closely with the client project team (Accounts and other Strategists) so implementations and consultations run smoothly and accurately
- Internal Projects
- Share ideas in team innovation conversations
- Take on projects, processes, and integrations that interest you and meet the team’s needs
What You Bring
- Associate or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent life/work experience
- At least one year of intermediate to advanced experience in Technolutions Slate CRM
- At least one year of experience in higher education
- Thorough knowledge of Slate features, including the application, reader, workflows, Deliver, events, fields and prompts, queries and reports, rules, portals, and upload dataset
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of admissions processes and strategy
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask, prioritize, and make decisions
- Interpersonal skills to work well with teammates and represent Carnegie to clients
- Strong communication and time-management skills, plus comfort learning and switching between multiple technology platforms, given the remote environment
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $70,000–$85,000. Your offer will reflect the experience, skills, and qualifications you bring.
