Details
In this second part of a four-part series in 2026, we’ll use Queries 201 to enter into Slate as relational database. After reviewing the overall structure of Slate behind-the-scenes, we’ll look to uncover all the essentials about extended filters and exports in queries. An intentional and slower-paced section on introducing subqueries versus main-level joins will take up a good portion of our agenda (think: What is the difference? When do I use one or the other?). Like our 101 session, a half hour of this training will be devoted to a workshop where we’ll provide questions to answer using queries, so come prepared to build some queries! Time permitting, we will explore additional categories and bases. Our target audience includes:
- Those who attended the 101 session in March
- Anyone with a basic understanding of configurable joins queries in Slate who wants to expand their knowledge
- Slate captains and leaders who want to learn ways to teach queries to their staff.
Registration is $100 per person, with payment due at time of registration. This event is nonrefundable, but registrations can be transferred to another member of your team and/or credited to a future session.
