Amy VanDerWerf Carroll partners with colleges and universities to strengthen student success and retention through evidence-based, student-centered strategies. Drawing on more than two decades in higher education leadership, she helps institutions design transformative experiences that foster belonging, engagement, and persistence. Before joining Carnegie, Amy served as Dean of Student Engagement at the University of Northwestern–St. Paul and led Residence Life at Messiah College. Her deep expertise continues to guide campuses in building sustainable cultures of student thriving.
