Sandra Smith is Dean of the School of Professional Studies and leads Brown University’s Division of Master’s and Professional Programs. She oversees academic programs, operations, finances, and staff supporting residential, online, and professional master’s degrees and non-credit learners. At Brown, she spearheaded new program development, including serving as inaugural director of the Executive Master in Science and Technology Leadership. Previously, Sandra worked at The Boston Consulting Group, Catalyst Strategies, Recon Strategy, and Charles Schwab. She holds engineering degrees from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the Wharton School and serves as a commissioner for Rhode Island’s I-195 Redevelopment District.
