Product Manager, Data & AI

The Product Manager, Data & AI, will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy for our Creative Automation and Data Intelligence products. This role will bridge business stakeholders, product management, and technology teams to translate strategic objectives into tangible product features and measurable outcomes. The Product Manager will own the product roadmap, detailed user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring that our AI-powered solutions are built, optimized, and adopted to meet evolving business needs. A key focus will be understanding and representing user needs, monitoring the market, developing competitive analyses, and building SaaS products that users love.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision, Strategy & Growth
    • Define a clear product vision and strategy for Creative Automation and Data Intelligence products, aligning with overall company objectives.
    • Align stakeholders around the product vision and strategy, fostering a shared understanding and commitment.
    • Lead the definition of growth strategies, commercial viability assessments, and go-to-market plans for new features and products.
    • Monitor the market and conduct competitive analyses to identify opportunities and threats, informing product strategy.
  • User Needs & Roadmap Management
    • Champion the understanding and representation of user needs throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring customer-centric development.
    • Own and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing product features and capabilities based on strategic importance, user value, and technical feasibility.
    • Translate business goals into clear, detailed, and testable requirements and acceptance criteria for Creative Automation and Data Intelligence products.
    • Map end-to-end user journeys across systems, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation in creative and data intelligence initiatives.
  • Discovery and Design
    • Lead requirements definition sessions; document current and future state workflows for Creative Automation and Data Intelligence systems, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
    • Drive wireframing, prototyping, and collaborate on UI/UX design (visuals & interactions) to ensure intuitive and effective user experiences.
    • Maintain traceability from requirements to test cases, releases, and reporting for AI products.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Empowerment
    • Create a shared brain across larger teams to empower independent decision-making, fostering a collaborative and efficient development environment.
    • Serve as the primary conduit among business leads, product managers, administrators, and data/engineering teams for Creative Automation and Data Intelligence products, advocating for customer needs throughout the process.
    • Facilitate demos, knowledge-sharing sessions, and best-practice documentation.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance
    • Define robust test cases and scenarios for system changes; run functional testing for Creative Automation and Data Intelligence workflows.
    • Accountable for UAT planning and sign-off with stakeholders, ensuring all detailed requirements are met.
    • Drive data quality checks for source, integration, and reporting layers; escalate defects with clear reproduction steps and impact.
  • Release Planning & Coordination
    • Coordinate release plans, timelines, and stakeholder readiness for Creative Automation and Data Intelligence product updates.
    • Ensure training, job aids, and rollout communications are prepared and delivered.
    • Track post-release issues, adoption, and stabilization metrics.

  • Demonstrated ability to define and execute growth strategies, commercial viability, and go-to-market plans.
  • Experience with user journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and UI/UX design principles.
  • Strong understanding of market analysis and competitive intelligence.

Experience

  • College degree or equivalent life/work experience.
  • 5+ years in product management within SaaS, marketing technology, higher ed tech, or related domains, with a strong track record of building successful and beloved SaaS products with a focus on data and AI.
