Project Manager, Enrollment Management
The Enrollment Management Project Manager leads strategic enrollment marketing initiatives that directly drive client recruitment outcomes while maintaining fiscal responsibility for project profitability and team accountability. This role combines project management expertise with Enrollment Management marketing and enrollment strategy knowledge to execute complex, data-driven campaigns within the higher education landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Project Leadership & Client Outcome Management
- Lead comprehensive project planning for Enrollment Management and enrollment initiatives, establishing clear milestone maps that align deliverables with client enrollment and revenue goals
- Coordinate Subject Matter Expert (SME) resourcing across search, research, and enrollment strategy teams to optimize project outcomes in partnership with Client Operations
- Proactively assess and mitigate project risks before they impact delivery timelines or client success metrics, escalating issues to the Project Lead or Account Director to ensure proactive resolution and sustained client retention
- Hold delivery teams accountable for scope ownership and deliverable quality through structured review processes and performance standards
- Financial Management & Resource Optimization
- Track project revenue performance and burn rate to ensure initiatives remain profitable and within approved budgets
- Monitor resource allocation efficiency and make real-time adjustments to optimize team utilization and project ROI
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to maintain accurate forecasting
- Cross-Solution Integration & Workflow Leadership
- Maintain strategic awareness of Enrollment Management project integration points with solution project management initiatives to ensure a cohesive client experience
- Collaborate with other solution PMs and Project Leads to coordinate timeline dependencies and shared resource requirements
- Escalate solution-specific obstacles and integration challenges to Delivery Operations team for rapid resolution
- Participate in cross-functional planning sessions to align Enrollment Management initiatives with broader client strategies
- Advanced Workflow Management & Quality Assurance
- Manage Asana workflows to report on task management, milestone tracking, and performance reporting
- Implement and uphold quality assurance standards that exceed client expectations and internal benchmarks
- Develop project documentation systems that provide stakeholder visibility and accountability tracking
- Proactively facilitate strategic client communications regarding project progress, performance insights, and optimization recommendations
Qualifications:
- Understanding of Enrollment Management marketing principles and enrollment funnel optimization to develop strategic campaign approaches
- Knowledge of higher education CRMs such as Slate and Salesforce to execute targeted enrollment initiatives and manage client data
- Experience in project management methodologies with the ability to adapt approaches based on project complexity and client requirements
- Advanced Asana administration, including automation, custom fields, portfolio management, and sophisticated reporting capabilities
- Understanding of project P&L management and budget forecasting to maintain fiscal responsibility and profitability targets
- Knowledge of higher education enrollment trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards and team accountability
- Strong collaborator, skilled at aligning teams, fostering open communication, and driving shared project success
- Dexterity and wherewithal to effectively deal with ambiguity, change, and continuous process improvements
- Demonstrates initiative and autonomy, effectively managing priorities while utilizing guidance and support when appropriate
- Experience or interest in using AI tools, with a willingness to learn how AI can impact and appropriately enhance the client experience
- Due to the remote environment, effective communication and time management skills are required, as well as the ability to use/learn multiple technology platforms and switch between them on a regular basis
- Physical requirement: Must be able to work at a computer for prolonged periods
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Project Management, or related field, or equivalent life/work experience
- 3-5 years of project management experience with increasing responsibility and complexity
- Minimum 2 years of experience in digital marketing or enrollment marketing
- Higher education industry experience strongly preferred
- PMP, Agile, or equivalent project management certification preferred
