Director, Slate Trainings

The Director of Slate Trainings serves as the owner of the Slate Trainings business line, providing a desired work environment for those within the team, maintaining a positive external reputation, and working to deliver on internal sales and revenue goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy, Leadership, and Innovation
    • Lead business line strategically, informed by Slate CRM and higher education trends
    • Contribute to the creation of and work to achieve agreed-upon goals
    • Drive innovation for new products and opportunities
    • Collaborate in Carnegie-wide integration of business line’s people, products, and processes
  • Sales and Revenue Oversight
    • Monitor sales activity and revenue generation
    • Participate in custom scoping and project-based revenue allocation conversations
    • Provide recommendations for offerings, including pricing
  • Slate Trainings Strategy
    • Maintain a full portfolio of active Slate Trainings partners
    • Advise on regular project execution strategy for those training on behalf of the business line
    • Provide strategic direction in team delivery of end-of-project deliverable(s)
  • Supervisory Responsibilities
    • Supervise business line senior leaders, providing constructive and timely performance evaluations
    • Manage staffing and workflow, including individual and team bandwidth/resourcing potential
    • Structure business lines to evolve and scale in conjunction with growth

Qualifications:

  • Leadership, management, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail, multitasking, prioritization, and decision-making
  • Instance-wide Slate knowledge
  • Effective communication and time management skills for a remote work environment as well as the ability to use/learn multiple technology platforms and switch between them on a regular basis
  • Must be able to work at a computer for prolonged periods

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent life/work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of intermediate to advanced instance-wide Technolutions Slate CRM experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of higher education experience
