  • Jeremiah Nelson Treasurer & Immediate Past President at NAGAP

    Jeremiah Nelson currently works for Catawba College’s Ketner School of Business as Assistant Professor of Management and Program Director of the MBA and BBA programs. With more than 20 years of higher education experience, Jeremiah’s responsibilities have spanned a wide range of leadership roles in Graduate Enrollment Management including strategic recruitment, admissions, retention, career and professional development, diversity and inclusion, career and professional development, and student services. He also has more than 20 years of experience teaching online, in-person, and hybrid undergraduate and graduate courses in strategic management, leadership, and innovation. Jeremiah holds a BS and MS from Central Connecticut State University and MS in Human Resources from Western Carolina University. He earned his PhD in Leadership Studies at North Carolina A&T State University with dissertation research focused on the perceived influence of HR managers on innovation in their organizations. Jeremiah is also currently serving as Past President of NAGAP, The Association for Graduate Enrollment Management leading the Leadership Cultivation & Elections Committee. His love language is chocolate chip cookies, he’s running half marathons in all 50 states, and he has an unreasonable obsession with dachshunds.

  • Ryan Taughrin Assistant Dean for Enrollment Management, University at Buffalo School of Education

    Ryan Taughrin serves as the Assistant Dean for Enrollment Management in the University at Buffalo's Graduate School of Education. He has over a decade of experience in graduate enrollment management, with specific focus on formulating recruitment plans for a diverse set of seated and fully online degree programs, management and supervision of staff, and engaging faculty in the strategic enrollment process. Outside of this role, he serves as the Membership Chair for the National Association of Graduate Enrollment Professionals, and is currently working on his doctorate in Higher Education. Go Bills!

    Ryan Taughrin serves as the Assistant Dean for Enrollment Management in the University at Buffalo's Graduate School of Education. He has over a decade of experience in graduate enrollment management, with specific focus on formulating recruitment plans for a diverse set of seated and fully online degree programs, management and supervision of staff, and engaging faculty in the strategic enrollment process.   • Naronda Wright Vice President of NAGAP and Director of Graduate Admissions at Augusta University

    Dr. Naronda Wright currently serves as the Director of Graduate Admissions at Augusta University. Naronda has worked in higher education, more specifically in graduate education for nearly 15 years. She is very active in her professional association and currently serves as the Vice-President of the national board. She is an Army veteran having served for seven (7) years as a Personnel Specialist. Her training was completed at Ft. Jackson, SC and she stationed in units in Ft. Hood, TX, Bad Krueznach, Germany, and Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. While stationed in Germany, Naronda also served 6 months in Bosnia for a peacekeeping mission.
