Carnegie Announces Student Select Online Network

Carnegie Communications, a division of Alloy Education, has announced the launch of its Student Select Online Network (SSON). The only higher education online advertising network of its kind, SSON is based on a statistical analysis of students from Carnegie’s in-house database, which contains millions of college and college-bound students. Schools select the profile of the students they are looking to recruit, and the Carnegie SSON product delivers a program targeted to that audience.

“For colleges, one of the most frequent concerns we hear regarding online marketing is that they don’t know how and where to advertise to get the most for their money, or what they can do to have confidence in the results,” said Carnegie’s Executive Vice President, Debbie Millin. “SSON delivers just that by allowing clients to reach pre-specified markets, leveraging our access to college-bound student data, and ultimately, building the most intelligent network available for this audience today.”

The SSON offers a pre-packaged plan based on a school’s desired student profile, allowing for immediate implementation and results. In addition, Carnegie can utilize this tool to design custom, school-specific marketing strategies. SSON joins retargeting, display advertising, SEO, SEM, and mobile services in the Carnegie family of digital offerings. Carnegie Communications, a division of Alloy Education, also hosts the college and scholarship search website, CollegeXpress, and publishes Private Colleges & Universities, Public Colleges & Universities, American Colleges & Universities, and Careers and Colleges.

“The results our clients see from SSON are immediate and compelling,” stated Millin. “With access to more college-bound students than any other company, Carnegie continues to implement new services to help our clients reach the right audience, with the right message, at the right time.”
