Monica also works to ensure successful ongoing partnerships with Carnegie's clients in order to deliver a final product that meets their needs, implements Slate best practices, and provides their audience with a smooth and integrated user experience. Monica also brings expertise in art and design, which translates to building beautiful, functional experiences for students and campus partners.

    Emma Hayek’s career in higher ed started immediately after college graduation, at place a place she knew and loved – her alma mater Creighton University. After serving as a counselor for a few years, Emma transitioned to managing digital marking for undergraduate admissions – which is when her love for Slate really grew. Emma’s specialties? Creating efficiencies, improving the student experience, and empowering Slate users. But when she’s not geeking out over configurable joins, liquid markup and portals, you can find her outside hiking, camping, or playing with her dog.

Having received her Master of Science in Analytics from Charleston Southern University, she finds reports and their capabilities most interesting in Slate along with analyzing them to find a way to strategically add to communication plans. Amanda lives in Pawleys Island, SC with her husband and 17-month old son. Outside of her home office, she loves to lift weights, walk the beach, or get outside for an adventure with her family.
