Maximizing Google’s Organic Real Estate: Optimizing Your Content for Special SERP Features

Thursday, April 13, 1:30 to 2:30pm

Google’s organic Search Engine Result Page (SERP) landscape has evolved in recent years to include more visual elements that allow SEO-savvy sites to maximize their visibility. With more and more students utilizing Google to find an institution that meets their educational needs, it’s no longer about if you appear in search results but rather how you appear. Rich snippets, site links, the college pack, and other special features allow you to take up more of the results page real estate—enticing students to click through to your website and giving you more options for funneling them to specific pages. In this presentation, you’ll learn what the most applicable special SERP features are for higher education and how to optimize your site so that you appear in these positions.
